I needed this magnet camera to be able to hook up a boat to my pickup with a camper in the bed. The camper blocks the mirrors and truck cameras and with this on the back of the camper, I can line up the hitch to the boat perfectly without a second person or jumping out of the truck repeatedly. It also helps put the boat into the garage when attached to the back of the boat trailer. It is a view I can't get from the truck cameras. Very easy to use with iPhone. Never fails.
I used this camera as a forward viewing camera afixed to my front facia/air dam to save it from damage caused by concrete parking stops.
Works perfectly on our 26’ Jayco trailer. No wiring to install. Strong magnet so it stays put on the bumper. Great clear image makes backing into campsites so much easier! Uses your cell phone (with free APP download) as the monitor.
I brought this so we could use when backing up our boat in the water. I love that i can use my phone and did not have to purchase a seperate monitor, and it works great. We can see when backing up to hitch our trailer.
I have a large tent trailer. I can not see a thing behind me. I wired the 12v charger into a marker light on the back of the trailer. Im not sure of the battery life yet, but it can now be recharged by simply turning on the head lights.
