It supports smoother drainage while helping protect drain traps from allowing sewer gas to enter kitchens, bathrooms, laundry areas, and compatible RV plumbing systems.

✅ Durable ABS Construction: Constructed from high-strength ABS, the vent offers excellent resistance to cracking, corrosion, and many common household chemicals, including oils, mild acids, and alkalis. The gravity-operated sealing mechanism automatically opens during drainage and reseals when airflow is no longer needed for dependable long-term performance.

✅ Easy Installation & Serviceability: Featuring 1-1/2-inch NPT inlet and outlet connections, the vent installs on compatible PVC drain lines. For proper operation, install the sealing disc at least 6 inches above the trap arm, allowing up to 15° from vertical if needed. The valve should remain accessible for future inspection or replacement and is intended as a secondary vent used alongside a properly vented plumbing system.
