Used for about a week, and the traps are very effective. Two out of three captures so far. These traps work great when set in active tunnels. They're much easier to set compared to the old style with spikes. I recommend having something to balance against while setting the trap, as it requires some pressure, but it's easy to get the hang of. The key is to ensure the trigger pad is straight down over the tunnel for optimal performance. These traps provide reliable results and are easy to use!
I have dogs so I can’t use bait. Took a chance on these traps and so far I’ve trapped two moles. The key is to make sure the trap and sensor is level to the ground to catch the most movement. I caught both in the evening.

I was initially unsure, as I put the traps out for a few days without any action, even though I could still see mole activity. After moving them around, a day or two later, I caught the mole that had caused significant damage to my yard with numerous holes and tunnels. I have a picture of it, but I didn’t want to post it because it was a fairly large mole. I named it “Holy Moley” due to its size and tenacity and gave it a proper burial. All has been quiet for a few weeks. Hopefully, I won’t get any more moles for a while.
