I installed these with a timer to come on 1 hour before my daughters needs to go to school and to shut off straight after she leaves. Then repeat when she and the rest of us all come home. With the timer they work great. The first two photos show the mats an hour after the turn off on a Saturday first weekend we fitted them. So they melted 4-5 inches of snow and it was still snowing after so a fresh dusting of snow just collecting. The last photo shows them melting the snow first day we used them on a Monday. Overall, a good product!

Easy setup, and I’m excited for it to snow! The grip is great when walking on it. I’ll definitely buy another set if it melts the snow well.
Very toasty when it's cold out. Stepping onto a snow free heated mat when getting out of the hot tub really takes the chill off.
They work great so far. My dog stops on them going down the stairs on cold days.Also, when they first arrived, I plugged them in and set them on the already snow covered steps. Worked perfectly.
