Find Buried Wires Without the Guesswork!

This worked like a snap to track my underground electric feed from the house to the garage! I just disconnected both ends of the line and connected the transmitter to the middle, and then walked around with the receiver and made a beautiful flag line!” - Rich T.

Why Get Our Underground Cable Locator?

✅Accurate Tracking at Depth: Many basic testers fail to reach deep or long-distance wire paths. This tool works up to 2–3 feet underground and across 1000 feet, giving you reach and reliability where others fall short. It eliminates guesswork, so you find the exact wire location every time. Perfect for long loops like dog fences or irrigation lines.

✅DIY-Friendly:  You can now locate and repair your underground wire issues with just one tool. It’s made for quick home or field use with no complicated setup or training.

✅Precise Audio Feedback: The included earphone delivers clear sound directly to your ear. It helps you zero in on the wire break faster and more accurately. Whether you're verifying which outlet is on what circuit or marking safe drill zones, this unit gives clear feedback. It's useful indoors and outdoors for both wire location and planning projects safely.

🌟HOW TO USE

  • First, install two 9V batteries into the transmitter and receiver. Disconnect the loop from your fence controller. Connect the transmitter to one of the two wires going out to the loop and power it on.

  • Next, turn on the receiver and hang its antenna near the ground. Swing it slowly back and forth while walking along the wire’s path. Listen for the tone signal.

  • Lastly, follow the tone. When the signal weakens or disappears, you’ve found the break point. Use the included earphone for clearer sound detection, especially in noisy areas.

Tracked fence break fast

I was skeptical but had a broken dog fence wire. We have about 400' of underground 10 gauge wire and had to try something. I ordered this and watched many videos as well. With the fence unplugged, I disconnected the 2 wires from the controller and hooked on the red and black clips. I traced the wire twice and found a 10' dead spot. That took 20 mins. I marked it, dug, and found the break 3' in. Total success. Solved my problem in 30 mins. Clear winner.

Fast break pinpoint

Found the issue with a dog fence in less than 30 mins. After disconnecting at the wall, I hooked up the signal tool and followed the tone. The drop was obvious. Dug down and saw the exposed break right where the signal cut out.

Made a perfect flag line

This worked like a snap to track my underground electric feed from the house to the garage. I disconnected both ends of the line and connected the transmitter in the middle. Then walked with the receiver and made a nice flag line. Did the same with our well water/electric line. That one was deeper but still worked. Soil here is sandy so maybe that helped.

Not a real break detector

I bought this to hunt a break in an invisible dog fence. It does generate a signal but it’s not a true break detector. Good for tracing, but don’t expect it to pinpoint the exact fault automatically.
